From there, shorter eating windows, such as a 12:12 or 14:10 protocol, offer many of the metabolic benefits of fasting while imposing significantly less cortisol stress than 18- or 20-hour windows. Ensuring that meals within the eating window are calorically sufficient and rich in healthy fats and high-quality protein preserves the raw materials the body needs for testosterone synthesis.

Perhaps most importantly, monitoring symptoms and retesting hormone levels after implementing any significant dietary change provides the feedback necessary to determine whether the protocol is supporting or undermining hormonal health. Optimization is not a fixed strategy — it is an iterative process informed by data.
